Prime Texas Air's commercial HVAC work is described on its own service list as scalable solutions for businesses, which in practice means a single rooftop packaged unit for a small office gets treated differently than a multi-zone system across a strip of retail bays. Why makeup air isn't optional
A commercial hood pulls a lot of air out of a building fast, and if there's nowhere for replacement air to come in, the kitchen or shop starts running negative and pulls air back down the flue instead of out through it. That's what a makeup air system is for, and it's why exhaust and makeup air get serviced as a matched pair rather than two unrelated units. Filter condition and static pressure across the whole system matter here too, since a packaged unit working against a clogged filter is a unit working harder for less air moved, in Gulf Coast humidity that's already doing it no favors.

What gets called out on a commercial site visit
A rooftop packaged unit that's short cycling or won't hold a set point usually comes back to one of a short list: an economiser stuck partway open pulling in outside air that's already hot and humid, a belt drive slipping and cutting airflow across the coil, or static pressure climbing because a filter hasn't been swapped on schedule. On the ventilation side, the most common call is a hood that's clearly moving air but the kitchen still smells like it isn't, which is almost always a makeup air problem rather than the hood itself.
